I am glad Mr. Obama beat John McCain and became president.
Ralph Nader would have been even better.
A traditional, indigenous Dine' (Navajo) grandmother/freedom fighter like Pauline Whitesinger would have been best, in my opinion.

I hope to live to bear witness to a State of the Union address that is translated into English from an indigenous tongue.
That said,
the U.S.A. is still ensnared in the seesaw battle of Republicans and Democrats.
At this point both sides are warmongers.
The primary difference right now is that when Republicans wage war it benefits the U.S. economy, when the Democrats do the same our economy weakens.
In my 35 years of life there have been 4 wars, one started by Dwight Eisenhower and the other three by George W and H.W. Bush.
All three of those men are Republicans.
Democrats are not capable of maintaining peace.
Something has to change.
