The Long War of the Bush Cartel

G.W. had no control over the warmongers at any point of his presidency. His "success" was in his ignorant defense of all their actions and agendas.

President Obama campaigned on ending the War in Iraq. Getting Osama and leaving Afghanistan. It was the party he defeated that chanted, "Drill baby drill".

Dick Cheney himself said Obama would change nothing, and he hasn't. He cannot, they won't let him and they won't let us. That is the nature of warmongering, kill the dissent and get the survivors to shut the fuck up and get to work.

So the world economy collapsed because of Bush. 9/11 was an attack on Bush. Two wars were started by Bush. But they make it seem clear to us that all of this was done to him, not by him.

Clinton signed NAFTA and destroyed the U.S. economy for the sake of international corporations.

Obama restarted our nuclear power industry. Obama escalated the troops in Afghanistan. Obama started drilling off our coasts ( and Mexico's) for oil.

See the tactics? The Republicans want the war and the resources. The Democrats either lose or cannot stop them. Or they are them.

The simple fact is, we are hurtling in the wrong direction and the pace accelerates each day.

The Bush Cartel has not gone anywhere and neither have we.

Angelic infidels shed poetic tears.

I am a white Pennsylvanian mongrel.

I have lived with pagans, satanists, atheists, agnostics, born-agains, bums, the rich, members of every branch of the U.S. Armed Services excepting the Air Force, priests, monks and natives... most of them are my friends, though i cannot promise that is reciprocal

and i was raised Irish~American Catholic and my mother is a Saint. My cousin is a priest and my only surviving grandmother (by my aunt's marriage) is a Jew.

I renounced my faith in the Catholic Church as a high school student in an elite, private, Augustinian monday morning chapel service, when challenged to do so by a brilliant and powerful priest (Whom i love madly to this day) during his sermon.

I have never been able to renounce what i have learned of Jesus and his teachings. The same is true for Roberta Blackgoat, Mohammed, Buddha, Baba Ram Dass, the Dalai Lama, Maria Sabina, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Pauline Whitesinger, many others...

They are all correct
and attempting to show us that we can be too.

It all starts with defeating aggression. Harnessing compassion. Mustering willpower. Cultivating the impossible reality of peace.

It all starts with looking at the people standing next to you and letting them know you care.

It all starts with a calm breath and a smile ( thank you Thich Nhat Hanh )

The wealthiest and most powerful private organization on Earth is the Catholic Church, out of Rome.

I am fully prepared to wage war against the Pope.

I have never even met the guy. But he was Hitler Youth, he has Rat in his name, and he allowed children to be molested.

You cannot hide behind the Prince of Peace when children are crying in their beds.

For all I know, the 28 Saudi Arabians that hit us on 9-11 were Ratzinger's lackeys.

The Bush Cartel definitely is.

I believe in God.
I believe in lots of things and I believe in nothing.
I believe that Women are Goddesses and children speak the voice of God.
God is and comes to us through Nature.

The worst humans among us spend their entire lives embarrassed at these truths.

They use lies and deception to convince us that their brilliance is genuine.
They pretend that the passage of time will justify their failures.
They act like their now familiar traditions are the only rational ones.
They ignore the alleged purpose of their existence and cultivate chaos behind masks of social convention.

Only the destruction wrought by European Messiah based civilization enables me to hurl this digital assault.
Only the magic of lightning enables this attack to be real and live.
Only the human capacity for reason and understanding can make this attack legitimate and peaceful.

"You can't blame the Youth, you can't fool the Youth" ~ Bob, Peter, Bunny and the Wailers

Here a wealthy white couple is being interviewed by a wealthy white reporter. While they would all likely insist they are middle-class working folks~ the stylishly folded expensive red scarf betrays my point.

"Umm, You know I...the kids who don't have anything else to do...umm, who probably have alot of time on their hands...uhhh... and probably have not been taught the most... umm... you know..."

~ My point: This is evidence of the passive fascism of the Bush Cartel.

These folks are being asked to comment on a phenomenon that they are afraid of... the large presence of American Youth without proper corporate sanctions or police security.

The younger pedestrian who ruined the shot is a freedom fighter.

The kids are storming South Street because they don't want to storm Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and Pakistan.

The kids are storming South Street because that's where all the hippies meet,

and the Bush Cartel closed down their libraries and recreation centers.

If that man did not fear the social backlash of daring to attack the Bush Cartel ( which is licking it's wounds )
he could have said something similar to
"The flash mobs we witnessed are a symptom of the madness of war and the limits of capitalism"

But instead he froze like a deer in headlights and mumbled words as he attempted to stop fixating on the fact that most of the mob was African-American...

with the primary source of his hemming and hawing likely stemming from the fact that his world is so far removed from theirs that he had no fucking clue why people were taking to the streets.

And the poor guy probably didn't even vote for Bush ( who did? )

I just hope they don't drag the Sonic Cannon down from Pittsburgh that they unleashed on us at their G20 Summit and park it in front of the Wooden Shoe Bookstore, or Zipperhead.

Because i am a fucking patriot, and so are those kids.

Blue comedy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Blue comedy is comedy that is off-color, risqué, indecent, profane, or obscene.[1] It often contains cursing and/or sexual imagery that shocks and offends many audiences. The term comes from the music hall comedian Max Miller who kept all his adult jokes in a blue colored notebook. [2]

Max Miller (1894–1963) – the Cheeky Chappie was a front-cloth[1] comedian who was top of the bill in variety in the 1930s, '40s and '50s. He made films, toured in revues and music hall, sang and recorded songs some of which he wrote. He was known for his flamboyant suits, his wicked charm, his risqué jokes which often got him into trouble with the censors. The BBC banned him twice, one of which lasted 5 years.

Bush Cartel Republican NeoLiberal Nazi Fascist propaganda, dissected by me just for you!

FOX News enabled the Bush Cartel coup d'etat of 2000.
To provide clear, direct evidence of the Racial/Class agenda of the Bush Cartel via FOX, here is an article they have published, liberally graffitied by my large, bold, black words.

"We are currently the only human species alive, but as recently as 24,000 years ago another one walked the earth — the Neanderthals. (We are naked apes.)
These extinct humans were the closest relatives we had (Germany holds the missing link), and tantalizing new hints from researchers suggest that we might have been intimately close indeed. (Humans will have sex with anything) The mystery of whether Neanderthals and us had sex might be solved if the entire Neanderthal genome is reported soon as expected. The matter of why they died and we succeeded, however, remains an open question.
Maybe not nasty and brutish, but still short (as opposed to kind, delicate and tall)
First recognized in the Neander Valley in Germany in 1856, (In attempt to appropriate Native American indigenous cultures) Neanderthals revealed that modern humans possess a rich and complex family tree that includes now-extinct relatives. (Our distinction as humans can only be created by pretending that these German bones prove we are connected biologically to "lesser evolved" life on Earth.) Neanderthals — also called Neandertals, due to changes in German spelling over the years — had robust skeletons that gave them wide bodies and short limbs compared to us. This made them more like wrestlers, while modern humans in comparison are more like long-distance runners. (German monkeys fight, they don't run like the African ones)
They were probably less brutish and more like modern humans than commonly portrayed. (German monkeys were better than the other ones) Their brains were at least as large as ours. (Big = Smart) They controlled fire, expertly made stone tools, were proficient hunters, lived complex social groups and buried their dead. (We could have taxed them) The discovery of the remains of an adult male Neanderthal with severely deformed arm bones, suggesting a major disability perhaps since childhood, hints they may have taken care of their sick. (Handicaps are deformities and a sickness) Genetic research even suggests they might have shared basic language capabilities with modern humans. (If Germans were banging them, they surely talked to them)
"They were a lot more closely related to us than anything alive today," said paleoanthropologist Katerina Harvati at the University of Tübingen in Germany. (Forget Africa)

Why did Neanderthals go extinct?
Roughly 30,000 years ago, the Neanderthals disappeared, although pockets might have survived until as recently as 24,000 years ago. Since they vanished just as modern humans were emerging there, scientists have long speculated that we might have driven their extinction.
"I think we did away with our competition," asserted paleoanthropologist Ian Tattersall at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. "We either did it indirectly by out-competing them over resources or directly by conflict. Homo sapiens is completely different from any other hominid that ever existed — we process information about the world in a different way." (Intellect proves our evolution.)
Other scientists have suggested that Neanderthals weren't destroyed so much as absorbed by modern humans. "Maybe they were wiped out by disease or by conquerors, but maybe they did leave important genes into our gene pool," said paleoanthropologist Milford Wolpoff at the University of Michigan.
Paleoanthropologist Tim Weaver at the University of California at Davis also noted that our species apparently could live at higher population densities than Neanderthals. As a result, this slight difference, with or without interbreeding, would have led to us replacing them.
"A lot of scenarios have been imagined, from peaceful 'flower child' behavior to violent interactions to even cannibalism," Harvati said. "I think a lot of these scenarios happened. (But it is doubtful they used human remains for furniture or secret societies)  I think we probably tried interbreeding and maybe it worked, maybe it didn't. I'm sure there was violence at times. I think in some places they went extinct before modern humans even arrived. But you don't even need any of those if there is even a slight advantage in how many offspring modern humans produce successfully as opposed to Neanderthals."
However, if Neanderthals did coincide with modern humans until 24,000 years ago, then we might not have had anything to do with their disappearance. Instead, evolutionary biologist Clive Finlayson at the Gibraltar Museum in Spain speculates the Neanderthals fell victim to a cooling of the climate that deteriorated their environment too rapidly for them to adapt. (It is equally possible that every point this article discusses is not true)
Did Neanderthals have sex with modern humans?
Did hybrids occur between humans and Neanderthals? In a surprisingly bold statement, the leader of the international consortium of researchers sequencing the Neanderthal genome, Svante Pääbo, recently said he was "sure that they had sex."
"Would they have recognized each other as possible mates?" Harvati asked. "We know when closely related primate species meet, they sometimes interbreed in nature, not just in zoos, and this is something we see not just in primates, but with other closely related species among mammals." (But it probably is true)
Past research had shown that Neanderthal genomes and ours were 99.5 percent identical, based on DNA extracted from three Croatian fossils. At an October conference in Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in New York, Pääbo — a geneticist of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, Germany — said the two species had sex, but it remained an open question as to whether children resulted and left a legacy in our genomes. (00.5% German Superiority)
"It's a good, valid idea, and it needs to be examined," Harvati said. "Uncovering this could be vital to understanding our own origins." (But only if this article can help convince you that the cradle of civilization lies in Germany)

We bleed for Peace, we kill and die for the Bush Cartel.

http://www.ivaw.org/membersspeak/why-aren-t-you-pissed-i-am"But there were numerous Marines who were killed during this time in small numbers every day in the fighting around Fallujah. But no headlines. The American people had become immune to the reports, and Bush stayed ahead in the polls. But he knew that a hundred Marines dead in downtown Fallujah would be a disaster for his attempt to get “re-elected.”
And so Marines died every day so that we could “keep the lid on Fallujah” until after the election. On November 6th, the Marines that would lead the attack staged north of the city. On November 7th, Operation Phantom Fury kicked off. The Marines and soldiers sweeping the city were going into an area where there had been no coalition presence since April. They faced numerous booby traps, IEDs, elevated sniper positions, and other heavily fortified defenses. The result was nearly a hundred dead US Marines and soldiers and over six hundred wounded. Not only did Marines die holding the lid on Fallujah, but a lot more died that would have in the attack had we done it sooner.
Of course, the allegations that I suggest here may never be proven. It may have been as little as a whisper from Karl Rove, “Hey Georgie Boy, tell the brass to hold off on Fallujah until November.” Then Bush plays the diplomatic bullshit card and says, “Let’s give the Fallujah Brigade another chance.” Then, “Let’s take our time planning this attack and not rush in.” Both theoretically valid and possibly innocent points of “strategery.” But the evidence is piling up. All arrows point to the top. It’s only a matter of time before the house of cards collapses. Yet I still have to ask, why aren’t the American people who at least know a modicum of the truth of these matters not as mother-fucking god damn shit-kicking pissed off as I am?"

"He buttered up the audience with praise of Muslims' contributions to civilization before he went straight into Afghanistan. “We did not go by choice, we went because of necessity. . . . Make no mistake: We do not want to keep our troops in Afghanistan.” Perhaps there was a necessity to pursue some legitimate target after 9/11, which he invoked, but the disproportionate nature of the attack was a choice, the perpetuation of the occupation for eight years now is a choice, and Obama's surge of thirty thousand troops in Afghanistan is HIS choice."

Adam Charles Kokesh, U.S.M.C.

"And above all, Fascism, the more it considers and observes the future and the development of humanity quite apart from political considerations of the moment, believes neither in the possibility nor the utility of perpetual peace... War alone brings up to its highest tension all human energy and puts the stamp of nobility upon the people who have the courage to meet it." Smedley Butler, U.S.M.C.

Smedley Darlington Butler (July 30, 1881 – June 21, 1940), nicknamed "The Fighting Quaker" and "Old Gimlet Eye", was a Major General in the U.S. Marine Corps, and at the time of his death the most decorated Marine in U.S. history. During his 34-year career as a Marine, he participated in military actions in the Philippines, China, in Central America during the Banana Wars, the Caribbean and during World War I, he served in France. By the end of his career he had received 16 medals, five of which were for heroism. He is one of 19 people to be twice awarded the Medal of Honor, one of three to be awarded both the Marine Corps Brevet Medal and the Medal of Honor, and the only person to be awarded the Brevet Medal and two Medals of Honor, all for separate actions.
In addition to his military achievements, he served as the Director of Public Safety in Philadelphia for two years and was an outspoken critic of U.S. military adventurism. In his 1935 book War is a Racket, he described the workings of the military-industrial complex and, after retiring from service, became a popular speaker at meetings organized by veterans, pacifists and church groups in the 1930s.
In 1934 he was involved in a controversy known as the Business Plot when he told a congressional committee that a group of wealthy industrialists had approached him to lead a military coup to overthrow Franklin D. Roosevelt. The individuals that were involved denied the existence of a plot, and the media ridiculed the allegations. The final report of the committee claimed that there was evidence that such a plot existed, but no charges were filed.

"War is a racket. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives."

“War is just a racket... I believe in adequate defense at the coastline and nothing else.”

"There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights."

"I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested."

"War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe,
as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people.
Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted
for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses."

Executive Clemency for Leonard Peltier

Petition for a Grant of Executive Clemency to Leonard Peltier

Leonard Peltier, an innocent man, was convicted for the 1975 shooting deaths of two agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. U.S. prosecutors have repeatedly admitted that they did not and cannot prove Peltier's guilt and the appellate courts have cited numerous instances of investigative and prosecutorial misconduct in this case. As late as November 2003, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals acknowledged that "…Much of the government’s behavior at the Pine Ridge Reservation and its prosecution of Mr. Peltier is to be condemned. The government withheld evidence. It intimidated witnesses. These facts are not disputed."

If Obama could stop the Bush Cartel by himself they would not be letting him win.

The same problems we protested then are still National policy.

The lack of enthusiasm we had for Kerry shows the limits of HOPE that the Democratic Party can bring us,

the level-headed optimistic genius of President Obama will not negate the Bush Cartel agenda.

Remembering their Intentions

Impotent Kings

It is fitting that the most popular morning radio talk show for the entirety of the Bush Cartel's reign of terror and destruction is Howard Stern, out of N.Y.C.

Downright Biblical.

Especially since he repeatedly advocates that the only solution for Peace in the Middle East is to allow Israel to annihilate every neighbor that contests their expansion through nuclear war, turning their lands into one huge parking lot.

I was in elementary school when i began listening to his show. It was pure genius.

To summarize:

He was a N.Y.C. local who was raised in the traditions of Judaism, Rock and Roll, and Television. His radio pedigree began with his father, who had spent decades in the recording studios of the Big Apple, allowing Howard access to that world from birth.

He was agnostic, irreverent, horny, brave and disgusting. His show revealed a world of people and jokes that had never seen public exposure. He had inhaled, and snorted, and loved quaaludes. When Nancy Reagan was telling us to "JUST SAY NO!" (while popping her pills), Howard had already said yes. He did not advocate drug abuse, but was not afraid to discuss and acknowledge it.

He was married and monogamous. He was raising children that continued his ancestors' Jewish traditions. His wife was an angel.

By declaring his spiritual doubts live every morning, by renouncing his ancestral faith to all of the listeners, he was (and is) a spiritual warrior.

Kings cannot ascend thrones without allies. His were priceless.

1~ His Queen, Robin Ophelia Quivers. A smart, accepting, challenging, proud, patriotic, sexy and single black woman. As a Christian, her tolerance of Howard's statements and antics passively enabled the God-fearing public to enter his show's dysfunctional universe.

2~ His General, the brilliant and subversive maestro of the subconscious... Fred Norris. He was the show's bard, using any sound to sculpt the show's mood and direction.

3~ His Court Jester, the Jewish pothead known as Jackie the Jokeman. He was also the resident elder on the show.

4~ His Governor, Baba Booey... whom he openly ridiculed and occasionally despised (but allowed to produce the show)... the sycophantic, good-hearted Gary Dell'Abate.

5~ His Town Cryer, the offensive but lovable Stuttering John.

The King of All Media sat on his throne first as a hero of his own design, Fartman. Using his mastery of the N.Y.C. English language and slang, he wrapped himself in the American flag and called the Iranian Embassy. The U.S. military had just killed 290 innocent civilians when they shot down an Iranian passenger jet.

As Fartman, Howard told the man at the embassy that he sided with America on that horrible situation, because Iran had killed 9 hostages, and then he delivered his intended message, which was a bunch of farts.

Those farts propelled him to his ascendancy. Now he cuts deals for half a Billion dollars and he holds the entire satellite radio industry in the palm of his hand.

He doesn't call embassies anymore... but his colleagues are enlisted by the U.S. Military to go on trips to Afghanistan and support our troops.

His shows now focus on finding media references to himself and dissecting them. Or exploring his fear of direct physical contact with the natural world and the people within it. Or defending the words that fly out of his mouth when they make waves that he can see.

Like David Letterman, his humor grows more bitter and self-involved day by day.

Who or what can usurp his rule?

America continues to tune in, waiting to see.

Pipedreams from the heart of a Flash Mob Phoenix...

"Love is faster than the internet.

As we go from this time (and maybe to another) I hope for love and no pain to be there when we get there.

I hope. Two words with supercharged, jacked up meaning and the key to what we need.

All I have is hope, because if you say you pray, you bring religion into it. I ain't scared of nobody. F 'em. It ain't worth it. What they gonna do, kill ya? Whats' the difference, man?
This is where the faggots get it twisted. They scared to die because when they were in their prime-time they gave a fuck about everything and they forever want to return to that feeling and experience.

I got everything in my head. Listen, I have the screenplay for a Broadway play. I contain a pop concert. I cannot separate myself from the spiritual and physical. It's like tendons, muscles, joints, nerves. Break it off. I am getting a headache.

(After a short nap)

Everything we experience as a human has a feeling attached to it, faggot. Scientists say we have only five senses. If I only have five senses, I exist as a retard, and that's what we are. It is impossible to know how many senses we have. We miss opportunities. We have obligations as humans. By nature, it's evil.

The Bible said rebellion is a bitch. And you're gonna pay the consequences. We all are. Monkeys ain't gonna understand that, ain't no reason to explain it."

I look forward. Know what I mean, baby boy?

We are in dramatically changing times. I have lived through so many of these. Look at the flash mobs in Philadelphia. That is new terminology. Monkeys gonna be looking at our book and saying, "Aw shit, flash mobs, I remember that!"

Look, I am gonna have to check what you write. I'm gonna have lawyers check what you write. I'm on a mission."

Restore Sovereignty through Service

Testimony from a Sheepherder:

I have just left after a four month stay on the Land. This was my 14th winter staying with Dine’ families residing on the so-called HPL and resisting the relocation laws by continuing to live on the land of their grandparents of generations back. It has been an intense winter. The big snowstorm was a sight to see, and reminded the elders of storms 40 and 80 years past, when there were many more families out there, and most of the elders didn’t live alone. And yes, the National Guard and US Army did come out to the families. I wondered at the irony of the hay, water, and other supplies, thinking how the families have lived under the threat of the Guard coming in to take them from their homes.
The OSM Life of Mine permit getting denied was a pleasant surprise. I had been looking at the hills, meadows and rocks that I have come to know, as becoming ‘reclaimed’ land through the mine expansion, and thinking of the long, hard fight to come. A second generation Black Mesa miner, and “HPL” resident stated that he was glad about the permit, and ready to see a change back to the old ways of living and away from mining.
The Supporter caravan at thanksgiving was a fast and festive, and abundant time. About 120 supporters for the week, but by the end of January there were only a few supporters on the land, and a list of families asking for a sheepherder. We were desperately calling out for people to come, and a few did, but only a few. And I thought, this is where the real support is needed- in the long haul, the deep snow.
Back in 1997, and again in 2000 the families were living under a threatening “deadline”, and there were literally hundreds of supporters on the land for months. I am grateful that there is no deadline as such now, but I do wonder what keeps us supporters from committing to coming out, or coming back. I have personally placed several hundred supporters in the last 12 years, and I marvel at how much we struggle to ‘get the word out’ and ‘get support to the Land’.
I am so honored and humbled by the loving hospitality I receive from the families. My sons are treated as family, and are growing up knowing the elders, kids and supporters, and about fighting for and supporting what is right. I have been raised out there myself in many ways. The Dineh people have been my teachers and mentors, my inspiration. I believe in doing all that I can to honor their request and invitation to come into the home, the land and the lives of the people indigenous to the land -what that means and what they are fighting for and against. I believe it is at the heart of the most important work today.
And I am writing this to remind us, you, that their door is open and there is a job to do- something that we are needing to understand, a connection that needs to be made and honored. It is time to come. It is time to come back. Its time to give back. Please help us do this.

Statement of Pauline Whitesinger, elder Dine’ resister, Edgewater Clan 2/10/10

Greetings to my relatives. I want you all to be aware of an incident that has occurred at my residence (Sweetwater, Black Mesa) this past week. As you may be aware we have had a lot of snow this winter. BIA road grading crews have been slow, but they have been coming. Some of them are very friendly and supportive and I had given them permission to park their machine in my front yard. A different group returned for the machine and one of their crew offended me very much in a short conversation that we had. I became so angry with him that I threatened him and chased him off. I do not know at this time what repercussions I will be facing. We are subject to whatever the BIA sends our way. The type of comments that he made are typical of the abuses we have suffered over the years resisting relocation and struggling against the government. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could do the road grading ourselves. I hope that you will consider that I am alone here most of the time and I would like to have more supporters around to help with the day to day chores or matters of traditional living importance that will never be supported by the BIA or their employees no matter how big their budget is.
Thank You!

Non-native Sheepherder at Big Mountain: Call to Herders

What is it about herding sheep on Black Mesa?
By Owen Johnson, Irish-American volunteer herder for Dine

Cactus Valley, Black Mesa, February 2010 - Herding sheep and goats on Black Mesa makes a lot of sense. Enough sense that people have been tending herds of small livestock there forever. There’s room for them, and just enough water. But you have to make sure they drink, keep them eating the right plants, and help the dogs scare off the predators. It can get exhausting. Old people can do it, especially if they are used to the herd and its used to them. But even if they are able, they enjoy to have a break now and then. Many of these primary herders are also weavers and they can use time off to focus on their cultural art. It makes sense to keep the sheep and the lifeways on Black Mesa because they’ve been there forever, and they could very well last forever.

It’s been mostly Dine’, or Navajo people that have been herding sheep on Black Mesa forever. But other folks have come in and helped out. Some have been integrated on a more permanent basis: Mexicans, Apaches, and Hopis, for example. Euro-Americans, Europeans, and Japanese primarily have been coming to herd sheep and help out for about 40 years. This is mainly because of widespread invitation by traditional Dine’ matriarchs, who have traveled the world since the 70’s speaking of their struggle against relocation and the Peabody coal mine. Many are still living on Black Mesa and continue their interest to have “helpers” come and stay. Some get “adopted”, some marry in to families. But actually, in the last 40 years only a handful of non-navajos have made any long term connection with the community. And really, they have not done very much of the work that it takes to keep the struggle going or contributed the resources that sustain it. It is really the people living on the land and their extended blood relatives, many of whom have accepted relocation benefits and found a place in the ‘outside’ world.

So ‘support’ or ‘herding sheep’ is not really ‘all that’ but it is something, and it has potential. It needs to be done right; and then, more. A person does not need to come out to Black Mesa with judgements, or with a vision about how people out here could do what they do better (‘you know, if they would just be a vegetarian...”, or something). Two times in the ten years I have been around here I have heard of family members from the cities not wanting to come home to visit their elders because “sheepherder” is unpleasant to be around. This was a disgrace. I mention it as an example of the type of risks we face in attempting to “support”. We need to be vigilant and uncompromising with ourselves and each other in order to keep such scenarios from happening.

The pressures of what Danny Blackgoat calls “the dominant society” are increasing—even if the mine is forestalled for the moment. Entering the Navajo universe as a herder is a means of acknowledging the responsibilities of yourself and your relations in the acceleration of these pressures--and a significant step in counteracting the encroachments of white culture on this vital and still vibrant community of traditionals. If you are a non-native, this is an opportunity to accede to and integrate into your life the wished and interests of traditional native people as to what to do and what not to do with your time and energy—how to do it and how not to do it. Maybe this is what is called “decolonization”.

Many people in the counter-culture, being “resisters” themselves of some sort, “rebels”, or what have you, have come to admire the people of Black Mesa/Big Mountain for defying Washington and their tribal government's orders to leave their homeland, even to the point of arming themselves. As it should be. Let’s transform the admiration into day-to day, year-to-year support for their ongoing struggle—not only to avoid eviction, but to keep the homesite running smoothly, to stop impoundments and harassment, to keep the herd strong, and to co-exist well with each other. As Rena Babbitt Lane said to me last year, “the time has come for us to stop ignoring each other,” referring to traditional natives and the surrounding world. We all have much to gain from each other.

So sheepherders, I’m talking to you as a fellow (non-native) sheepherder. How can you set aside some more time? Can we support each other directly to do this? Are you in touch with other sheepherders when you are on and off the land? Lets build or re-build the collective consciousness about keeping the herd covered, or keeping Grandma soandso taken care of. Are you in touch with the family when you are not there herding? Do they know how and where to contact you? Are you keeping up on current events on the rez?

Don’t rely on BMIS for this—support BMIS on this!

There are strategic times to come out. First week of October, it was recently pointed out to me, has always been impoundment season. There’s times in the spring too. Let’s get to know these as our rythms. The impoundments at T’iisyaato last fall could well have been forestalled by the presence of supporters. Lets not let that happen again. Impoundments are a big financial burden for the family—to recover the animals costs hundreds of dollars, and it does permanent damage to the animals. They come back scarred and scared. The families did everything they could to stop it. Did you?

Right now, as we prepare to leave for our other camp on the east coast there are almost no ‘supporters’ here. We have pending requests from 9 of every 10 families that we work with for on-land, live-in support. That means you. So get healthy, get sober, pull your connections—get creative. There’s a lot at stake! We thank you in advance.

~ this song is obviously not representative of traditional Dine' culture, since the words are English and the performance is from California. I included it for personal reasons.

The Navajo Reservation is actually a Sovereign First Nation, which the people who live there call the Dinetah. They call themselves the Dine', not Navajo.

Their traditions and songs and dances are silenced by corporate pressures for coal, uranium and water... also by the U.S. Government's fear of autonomy.

For example, when the Traditional resistors began celebrating Sundance Ceremonies on Black Mesa, the grounds were bulldozed by our government.

When their livestock herds grow, the sheep and goats are confiscated.

New construction of traditional hogans on the contested land that Peabody Coal wants to mine is forbidden by authorities in the name of unjust laws.

The People are beautiful, wise, proud, fun... ingenious artists and fantastic cooks!

they know what to do with their land and how to restore forgotten joys.

Us outsiders, those who have not grown up within the boundaries of four sacred mountains, CAN make a difference...

Acknowledging and respecting the Dine' and Dinetah is surely a necessary reversal of the Bush Cartel and all that Corporate NeoLiberalism is doing to destroy Earth.

Let me attempt to put this all in the simplest, most direct terms.

I have herded sheep (and goats have herded me) within the Dinetah. I tried very hard to help and learn and grow as much as possible. The shame of my suburban First World culture (which i carry with every breath i take) became petty and irrelevant near the majesty of that land, life, sky, water, fire and People. They welcomed me, fed me, sheltered me, showed me how to pray with them.

They need supporters willing to forsake the electrical grid, running water and telecommunications. They need people that want to learn their language, listen to their stories and songs.

As i listen to Sirius Satellite Radio and watch You Tube Clips of Philly Youth Flash Mobs creating the next logical step of the Bush Cartel for them

and post this blog rant

i am convinced that i am one of the two disgraced supporters

and i take another shame filled breath

and remain insane at the continued existence of the Bush Cartel.

Ties always go to the Warmonger

Coinciding precisely with the coup of Bush II in 2000, any U.S.A. political polls regarding important issues repeatedly attempted to convince us that our nation was in a continual state of 50/50 disagreement on all of our decisions.

Ten years later the polls have shifted away from the Corporate Fascism that has subjugated us since the new millenium began but still we fight their wars.

Still we sell our homes.

Still we work longer hours in industries founded on destruction.

Still we remain subservient to elitist financial and legal liars.

Still we destroy our land in the name of chemical and industrial industries originally exported by the powermad Germans and now defended by the masochism of Israel.

All of this in America, where we still pretend that natives do not exist...

while their wisdom, love and cultivations sustain us even as we continue to destroy everything.

In the name of what?

For the fear of what?

I am 36 years old. Since I was 6... the problem has monotonously been the Bush Cartel.

Right now they are not in the White House directly.

But they are still fucking everything up for everyone, including themselves.

~
"Two surveys published in recent days produced astonishing findings about the public's attitude on construction in Jerusalem, findings that should alarm every Jew. In a Haaretz-Dialog poll, 48 percent of the respondents said Israel should continue building in all parts of Jerusalem, even if the price is a rift with the United States, while 41 percent said Israel should stop building in East Jerusalem until the end of negotiations with the Palestinians. Almost identical findings came up in a Mina Tzemach poll, where 46 percent said building in East Jerusalem should be frozen and only 51 percent opposed such a move." http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1158599.html
~

Now the polls cannot push ties in the U.S.A. (for now)... so they return to the Middle East and Jerusalem... where they have been choosing war over peace for multiple thousands of years.

This type of warfare desecrates the majesty of the Americas.

Always has, always will.

I blame Rome. I blame Caesar, I blame Aristocracy. I blame the notion of Class.

I blame the Bush Cartel.

"Teabag Bush" ~ B. Dobbs

This planet earth is where we humans congregate with nature and everything else that exists.

Indigenous cultures throughout time have cultivated their societies through observing and surviving with the natural world.

Governments, militaries, technologies, languages and religions have been invented/acknowledged throughout human evolution.

For about 100 years now, we humans have been exploring the potentials of harnessed electricity.

In that 100 years we have enveloped the globe with satellites, radios, cable/fiber optic networks, cell towers and power grids. We can speak with and watch people live virtually anywhere on our planet.

Right now the natural world sees our species as more of a burden than caretaker.

Our financial, pharmeceutical, military and food industries conspire to continue this devolution towards chaos in the name of "Economic Growth".

The Bush Cartel, which controls the U.S.A. and therefore steers world politics, still remains uninvestigated and uncensured while we continue to wage their wars for them.

They are and always have been a fanatical minority of our population. They maintain their power over us through covert operations and data gathering, chemical modification of our bodies and gross manipulation of mass media.

For what reason we are not shutting them down and exploring the optimism of a different world?

Why are they untouchable?

What part of their world justifies legitimacy?

Monetary Myths

Maybe a driving force behind the destruction and carnage of the Bush Cartel lies in a false notion that nations or people can earn so much money that they can live with peace and tranquility for the rest of their days. (Peace and tranquility are cultivated, not projected on spreadsheets.)

The alleged driving force behind this fallacy appears to be the notion/necessity of "Economic Growth".... which is actually nothing more than a Baby Boomer, C.I.A. sanctioned buzzword for exploitation of the natural world and indigenous communities.

Peace and Tranquility will never be found in Presidential Orders, Constitutional Amendments or Corporate Accounting.

Laws and Currency aspire towards Order and Assimilation... they are the inevitable byproduct of a top-down cultural approach to societal evolution.

Our laws and currency come from our minds into the natural world.

Jimmy Carter was the last President in my lifetime to attempt to use our laws and currency in order to protect the Natural World for us all.

Since 1980 the Bush Cartel and it's control of the C.I.A. have destroyed the legitimacy of our currency and forced our laws into subjugating us and our natural resources.

Clinton was a placeholder for Bush II, Obama is a placeholder for Jeb.

Two Gulf Wars, the occupation of Afghanistan and the militarization of Colombia... 1% of the population is incarcerated...

the Bush Cartel creates and advocates for war...

we need to realize that if we can ever stop fighting for them

they will bring their war

directly

to

home.

How many years until we are looking in the sky for enemy drones? IED's ?

Our current global politics has one clear endgame: A shitstorm of pollution, death and misery for the global majority so that a few elite Europeans and their mongrel American relatives can explore the limits of a Corporate Sponsored Heaven on Earth.
